Woah. So glad I’m Canadian.
… I’m frightened.
A few things here:
1 - The Republicans created this bill and filled it with a lot of protections, basically warning the President that if he didn’t sign it, funding for veterans and their families would be cut to nothing.
2 - Obama very clearly stated that the bill does *NOT* apply to American citizens, only to people living in the US who are here on temporary visas, and it also only applies if the person in question is showing support for Al Qaeda or other terrorist groups.
That’s all. People on Tumblr are too damn gullible to actually go research this shit themselves. Use fucking Google, that’s what it’s there for. There’s no god damned cover up, it’s just people being sensationalist.
Reblogging again for the more concise and brief clarification above. Thanks, Sakura.
To the two above calling me “gullible” and “need to research,” bitches please:

And when TYT posts their video today I will definitely add this to the list.
What Obama says in his comments is like you guys having a slice of pizza, ate it and then someone asks you if you want another slice and your all like “Nooooo, I don’t think I should” while you are reaching for another fucking slice.
Don’t tell me I’m “gullible.” Obama doesn’t like you. Republicans don’t like you. The government doesn’t like you. They WANT THIS! Stop staying in dream land and wake the fuck up.
